The main service offering is website design.
Other design services include anything graphic design: logos, business cards, flyers, brochures, custom imaging, 3D renders.
I specialise in serving new businesses, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and local businesses that need a website revamp or redesign. The primary focus is on the George and Garden Route regions of the Western Cape, South Africa, although a lot of my business also came from Cape Town.
I do 98% of the website design. Some graphic design, 3D rendering and booklet design is done by other partners.
The process for a website revamp involves a full visual overhaul, content strategy refinement, and technical optimisation to improve performance.
For website migrations, we securely transfer all existing content, databases, and files to a new hosting environment with minimal downtime.
A custom-built website is a bespoke solution designed and often coded from the ground up to meet your specific business needs.
A template-based website uses a pre-existing layout and design.
My websites are mostly a combination of the two, custom-built using WordPress to ensure they are unique, scalable, and optimised for your business goals and some template parts if cost and delivery time are bigger factors.
The website maintenance service includes monthly security updates, plugin and theme updates, and regular backups. We also provide monthly performance reports and allocate time for minor content updates and support. Please contact us directly for current monthly pricing.
I integrate e-commerce functionality using the WooCommerce plugin for WordPress. This allows us to set up product catalogs, shopping carts, and secure checkout processes. South Africa’s payment gateways are Payfast and YOCO and can be configured to suit a variety of shipping methods.
Our web design service focuses on creating the structure, functionality, and user experience of a website. Our graphic design service involves creating visual assets like logos, brochures, business cards, and social media graphics. These services can be bundled into a single project to create a cohesive brand identity both online and in print.
We provide content and copywriting services for new websites. This includes strategic content planning to determine what information is needed, and drafting and editing text to be clear, concise, and optimized for search engines. We also assist with selecting and sourcing appropriate images if none exist.
Our websites are built with SEO best practices to ensure they are visible on Google. We provide a monthly SEO and analytics report that tracks key metrics like website traffic, top-performing pages, and user behaviour as an additional serice. This report helps us monitor performance and make data-driven decisions to improve your site’s visibility.
ASAP. That will be discussed upfront.
A website done properly takes about 4 weeks to complete, depending on the size and complexity of the project.
Landing pages can be done much quicker, while online shops can take a while longer to set up. This can be discussed.
Nothing serious, the whole project just moves on with a couple of days or until feedback is provided.
- Insight into your marketing strategy and brand messaging if it exists. If not, this can be created.
- Company logo and colour pallete if it exists, if not, this can be created.
- Service of product offering information, together with some company information, contact details, etc.
- A deposit, usually about 30% – 50%, depending on the project scale.
There are no guarantees, but if you feel that my approach and designs are not inline with you or your company’s goals, I will invoice you for the work done to date and you are free to continue elsewhere.
NOTE: there is a 3-6 month hold on newly created domains at the service provider, meaning that you are not allowed to move the domain to another service provider within the first 6 months.

Web hosting is the service that stores your website files (and email) and make them available on the internet.

Yes, we provide training to help you confidently manage your new website. This includes a one-on-one session covering how to edit pages, add new blog posts, and manage an e-commerce store if applicable. We also provide a reference document with step-by-step instructions.
A sitemap is an easy way for webmasters to inform search engines about pages on a website that are available for crawling. In its simplest form, a Sitemap is an XML file that lists URLs for a site along with additional metadata about each URL (when it was last updated, how often it usually changes, and how important it is, relative to other URLs in the site) so that search engines can more intelligently crawl the site.
Web crawlers usually discover pages from links within the site and from other sites. Sitemaps supplement this data to allow crawlers that support Sitemaps to pick up all URLs in the Sitemap and learn about those URLs using the associated metadata. Using the Sitemap protocol does not guarantee that web pages are included in search engines, but provides hints for web crawlers to do a better job of crawling your site.
And yes, I do provide this if you chose the Analytics and/or SEO add-on.
